
So my boss’s email isn’t forwarding to his Black Berry account. Yes, I’m not a retard. I deleted his email and re-created as an alias and forwarded to his new domain email and added the forwarders to his Black Berry. So the Bell tech adds his test gmail account to the main forward line via the web portal. He sends some test emails and tells me it’s not working. I’m not here to slam on the fact that he did exactly what I did to test/setup this email forward.
The main reason for this blog post is we chatted. I told him about what this company does, how the sliding tarp systems work (kind of I’m not a trucking man). He then told me he was in New Brunswick and that there is mainly logging trucks. He also when on to explain that in New Brunswick they are closing most of the logging camps and it’s really hurting the economy.
Now before anyone calls me a fag for having a nice little morning conversation with someone who is working a shity job understand that I basically was this dood. Someone who cares about there job but has to sit in a call center and deal with bullshit all day long. Hell, I’m basically a help desk agent right now (while on hold waiting for him to create a ticket).
I guess what I’m trying to say is be nice to phone support techs. They usually hate there life.
